Facts: Plaintiff was staying at the Days Inn in Warner Robins, GA while performing duties at the Robins Air Fore Base. He slipped on a clear, slick residue on the staircase, fracturing his elbow. After seeing to his injuries, he reported the accident to the front desk. The front desk manager made note of the incident, but also noted that she inspected the stairs and found nothing slippery. Plaintiff presented evidence that the owner of the hotel knew about the repeated development of a clear slick residue on the breezeways close to the stairs. The owner denied ever knowing about the presence of this residue on the stairs themselves. In response, Plaintiff and his witnesses presented evidence that the residue appeared to have been "tracked" onto the stairs.
