Hannah Woods is a passionate lawyer born in Macon and raised in Tifton, Georgia. After graduating from Tift County High School in May 2013, she attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Rural Studies and Political Communications in December 2017. She then pursued her Juris Doctor degree at Mercer University School of Law and graduated in May 2021.
Throughout her time at Mercer University, Woods was an active member of the Association of Women Law Students (AWLS) for all three years and served as a Mercer Law School Ambassador in 2020-2021. She became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in October 2022 and is now focusing her practice on personal injury and workers’ compensation law.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Hannah Woods is an active member of her community. She has volunteered with the women at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia through her church, Christ Chapel, and enjoys attending the weekly women’s Bible study. Though she plans to reside in Macon for some time, when visiting her hometown, she attends her family’s church, Carpenter Road Church.
Hannah is the daughter of Darrell and Sonya Woods of Tifton. She loves to spend her free time with family and friends, especially her nephews and nieces. Hannah also has a fur baby named Rosie, who she enjoys taking for walks and snuggling up with after a long day.
