Client attending work seminar in Macon, GA and they were on the way back to Dublin, GA.  The driver failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and pulled into the path of another vehicle.  She was taken by ambulance to the local hospital.  After several weeks she was sent to a neurosurgeon and had neck surgery.  The pain in her back continued and she was unable to return to work.  The insurance company contested treatment of her lower back because her complaints preexisted this accident.  The wreck aggravated her condition.  After our client was evaluated by the insurance doctor who recommended no further treatment, we filed for Catastrophic designation and hired a vocational expert.  The case settled for $150,000 and a Medicare set aside account.
