The 19th Annual Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale, proudly sponsored by Powers Law Group, among others, is set to captivate art enthusiasts from April 12 to April 20, 2024. This prestigious event will be held at the Round Building at Carolyn Crayton Park, located at 115 Willie Smokie Glover Dr., Macon, GA, offering daily shopping hours from 10 am to 4 pm.
From its inception as a modest local pottery show, Fired Works has blossomed into the largest exhibit of functional and sculptural pottery in the state of Georgia. Its growth is a testament to the vibrant cultural fabric of our region and Powers Law Group is honored to contribute to its success.
This year, the exhibition will feature an even greater variety of pottery, crafted by talented artists from Georgia and beyond, showcasing the richness of our artistic community. The event not only provides an opportunity for collectors to find unique pieces but also includes a series of engaging community activities aimed at promoting the arts.
Organized by the Macon Arts Alliance—a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to fostering and supporting the arts in Central Georgia—the Fired Works benefits from the proceeds which are reinvested into local arts programs. This synergy of community and creativity is what Powers Law Group is thrilled to support.
The exhibition is made possible through the generous backing of several sponsors, organized into categories reflecting their commitment:
- Anagama: Cox Communications, Kaolin, Burgess Pigment Company, MetroPower, Powers Law Group, Visit Macon.
- Porcelain: Atrium Navicent Health, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beeland, McNair McLemore Middlebrooks & Company, Mercer University, Oliver’s Corner Bistro, Renasant Bank, Dr. and Mrs. William L. Tift, Stella and Ken Tsai-Deaton.
- Stoneware: and more.
- Earthenware: includes a wide range of contributors.
Media coverage is ensured by partners such as 13 WMAZ, Cox Communications, Macon Magazine, and Macon365, who play a crucial role in promoting the Fired Works.
Powers Law Group is proud to be part of an event that not only enhances the cultural landscape but also strengthens the community ties through the arts. We invite everyone to join us in experiencing the artistry and craftsmanship on display at the Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale.
